99 regal wont start

i have a 99 regal when trying to start the anti lock light says on the brake light stays on and the air bag stays on if i turn the key over sometimes it will start sometimes it will not if i put my foot on the brake and turn the key over it will sometimes start now get this when i do get it started and turn on my blinker it goes dead or when it is running and i finally use a screwdriver to push down the shift release lock and get it out of gear the bell starts dinging put it in neutral it quits put it back in gear it dings so far i have been told it could be a security module or a relay just thought i would post this and try to get some help or give some

Interesting problem. Here's my 2 cents. I guess anythings better than nothing, so here goes. Did you say that when you do get it started and turn on the turn signal the engine goes dead?? If thats the case it could be a relay, bad sensor, or related wiring shorted to ground.

Is your security light or Service Engine Soon (SES) light illuminated?

Let me know and we can go from there. BTW - How many miles on the Regal?

security light isnt on either 94000 miles on this regal or the service engine light i think i found someone else who had the same problem they said it is the ignition switch i will try that this week and get back with everyone so they will no 111!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! problemed solved i just went out to my car and tapped on the ignition switch inside the column and the light s went off and the car is running fine at fisrt the service engine soon light flickered but the car will run now and will come out of park no lights left on i hope this will help someone else the ignition switch is a little box inside the column under the key or where your key goes in have a great day !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!

The ignition switch and solenoid makes sense. If you take the key to the first position only you should hear a clunk (energize), all dash lights should be off except the PRND321 leds. Sounds like you're on the right path. Good luck! Let us know how it turns out.
