Cold fast/Warm runs boggy ?

When my Bird (94 4.6) first starts it take off like a jet,but after it warms up to norm. it runs like clap.I gie it a good kick in the gas patel but it boggs down. Any one know what may cause this ?

Re: Cold fast/Warm runs boggy ?

I took it off and cleaned it,Still runs like crap.Only when I first start it dose it have the power to lit up the back tires. After it warms up I give it to the floor and it just bloggs down,If I drive it easy on the gas it runs ok.? Is there a way to test the MAFS.I see new a one will hurt my wallet.

Re: Cold fast/Warm runs boggy ?

Dude, one thing you have to remember is....your tbird AINT no 350 chevy, not even close to a 98 GT 4.6, these cars have NO POWER. Honestly it sounds like a fuel problem, get your fuel filter changed...tune up, plugs etc etc. I have a 95 4.6L and believe me, to the wheel, these cars only have 160hp/220ft lbs.

Take it for what it's worth, a decent cruiser with some torque...nothing else.
