head swap
I new to the honda stuff I dont really know all the engine codes and I have this friend who is giving away tons of stuff from his old cars. I was just wondering if I could put a D16 head on my stock crx si engine if so what needs to be done. thanks

you could but D16 already comes stock in SI. unless you mean a d16y8 or d16z6 which will still work just need to convert to obd-1 and wire up for vtec. AKA Mini-me.since he is giving it away,take it.

im not to sure what enigne code it is but i know it had v-tec, thanks for the help and will it give me a horse power gain

if it had vtec then its either y8 or z6 or maybe even Zc (if d-series head). if not d-seriers head then wont work.And yeah you will gain a couple hp from head swap.
