Evap System on a '95 Blazer
I looked for this in a search and couldn' find anything so ......
for some reason my blazer is throwing a P441 code. ( I think that is what it is) It is the code for the evaporative system. I was told that it might just need to have the charcoal canister replaced? Can anyone tell me where its at? Does anyone have any other ideas on what it could be? ...... sorry its my wifes car.... i can only work with hondas... Thank you in advance for any helpful info... cris |

Here is the location for the charcoal cannister on a blazer. The pic is showing the drivers side frame rail. Sometimes a cannister that is bad or full of fuel can mean an underlying problem with a vent valve or purge solenoid in the EFE system. Although we have replaced many of these and had no other problems. Good luck and welcome to AF.

Thanks!!!
Is the vent valve or purge solenoid right around the canister or did they hide it somewhere else? Thanks again for the quick reply. |
