Question RPM>>>>>>>>>>>>

I have a 95 civic hatchback with an integra engine (96 integra RS), but I'm experiencing some problem with the RPMs it will go strong as hell till it gets to 5.5 RPMs and when it gets there it wont go any further. If someone knows what the problem might be please write back

Re: RPM>>>>>>>>>>>>

1. check your engine codes to see if any are stored in it hinting at what the problem might be, is your car OBD-1 with an OBD-2 motor, or is the whole setup OBD-2

2. your car might be in safe mode, you should pull the hazard and backup fuses from your main fusebox under your hood to reset your computer back to normal.

check your oil level. sometimes the engine will do that when vtec is supposed to engage(right around 5500) and low oil wont let it
