lights get brighter

i have a 92 honda accord stock, and there's this wierd thing that happens to it when i step on the gas all the way. When the car shifts into the higher gears (automatic, ie 3 or 4) and the car gets that extra pull, all of the lights get brighter, and remain bright until i let go of the gas. When i mean lights, i mean ALL the lights, headlights, front panel, everything gets brighter. Now is this something i should be worried about?????? why does this happen?

my 94 accord does that. it does it when its idling, whenever the fan turns on i notice a slight dim in my headlights and panel lights. in your case it may be an alternator problem if it is a signifigant change in light brightness.

i know that when your lights start dimming, it's the alternator, but mine get brighter...they don't dim...my dad says it might be the battery

Probably your altenator like brads94accord said but could be just magnetic field from your "soon to be in need of replacement" alternator... when I had my 89, the headlights would go brighter when I press on the gas, the power charge is not "regulated" anymore...

or could be just a simple problem...LoL
