water pump hole at bottem

coolent is leaking from small hole at bottem of pump

I'm new to fords altogether but if its like any of my chevy's than thats call a weep hole and it mean the main seal in the pump is bad and it need to be rebuilt or replaced. But i could be wrong it is a ford and i have no working knowledge of them. Good luck.

If you use radiator sealer you run the risk of plugging up your heater core which will cost a lot more to replace then a water pump and the water pump will have to be replaced sooner or later anyway since a sealer isn't a permanent repair. Do yourself a favor and just replace the water pump. It's something you can do yourself.
