I have adjusted my valves on my 325 bmw (1986). it still makes a lot of valve noise. Any suggestions.

Re: valve noise

Yea, if more than 150,000 mi. it will most likely need new hyd. lifters, over time they don't pump up as well as new lifters and will quiet down the ticking problem. Hope this helps. Later, Mark.

WOULD OLD HYD. LIFTERS CAUSE LOW CYLINDER COMPRESSION?
