Smile Tire Pressure Monitoring System

Hello all...

I have a 2006 Sedona with the TPMS. On the dash there is a light for each wheel as well as a seperate light (tire half section with an "!"). On two occasions I had the lights come on. 1st time was passenger side (front & rear). Dealer reprogrammed module. 2nd time, passenger side again (f&r), then all 4. Dealer reset lights. Said tire pressure was low. Now, I live in south Louisiana. In no way did the temperature drop enough in a weeks timespan to drop the tire pressure enough to trip the sensors. Is this a common problem with this system? I know it is used on other vehicles.

On a lighter note. This van replaced a Windstar. You can imagine my surprise when this "light" came on.

I welcome all informational replies.

The light comes on when the pressure in the tire is low. When the vehicle sits overnite and then is driven the tire psi can vary by as muc as 5 psi. Tires warm up when the vehicle is driven. Changing the air density.
