Hello.
I have '89 Cherokee (4.0L) and am looking for (2-4) used/new fuel injectors for reasonal prices. Just found that out this past weekend. I replaced all of o-rings but that didn't help. :o( FYI - Brand new @ Autozone was $42. Thanks. |

Re: WTB: Fuel Injectors for '89 4.0L
4.0L Jeep injectors are 19.5 lb/hr. 5.0L Ford injectors (19lb/hr) will work with little or no change in performance. But you must replace all six. Go to the "Ford Mustang" forum and find someone who upgraded their injectors (24 lb/hr). Every Mustang owner knows that's one of the first things you do to go fast, and I'm sure somebody has a set taking up space in their garage. If you pay for shipping, someone will probably give them to you for free. I don't advise buying the 24 lb/hr injectors for your 4.0L unless you plan to do some major mods. Keep me posted.
FYI Question??? Autozone wants $42 for 1 injector? Or $42 for all 6? Either way, don't tell the Mustang dudes. Last edited by Xendrea Jasper; 10-27-2004 at 06:36 PM. |
