|
Any ideas, front bumper fitting
hey i just got my 96 civic ex 3 days ago and am starting to do some work on it, i already fiberglassed repaired, bondo'd, sanded, painted, the front bumper and i want it to be perfect an its almost there. i just got some problems fitting it right, there only 2 screws and 2 bolts that hold the thing on and im not sure if i should make some new holes because i cant bring it up close enough to the fender (see pic) and it looks alittle funny around the headlights. How should i fix this problem????

u try looseing all teh bolts and screws and align it. if its aftermarket then it might not be molded right?

yeah its still not perfect but thats just because its aftermarket like ya said, but i ripped out the plastic screw holder things and replaced them with bolts and pulled the whole thing so it alined alot better. there not a huge gap nowbut it still looks alittle off, i'll just have them fix it perfect when i take take a trip to the body shop for touchups. Thanks for the reply

If You dont plan on getting a new bumper, you could mold it in, and get rid of the gap all together.
