89 c1500 parking/marker and dash lights not working, fuses are good. Everything else still functions, turn, hazard, brake, horn, hi beam indicator etc. Haynes wiring diagrams not much help. I cannot see where these circuits interconnect.
I am hoping someone has had this problem and can save me a lot of troubleshooting time. thanks for your assistance Last edited by gbear711; 08-25-2004 at 08:23 PM. |

heh np. Trying to do electrical work in a 20 year old truck can turn sane people into nutjobs pretty fast.
![]() Oh yeah, and if its the lights that went out in the dash like my truck you could just attatch a gameboy light thingy, or any kind of neon or whatever light you want on the side of the steering colum. I got a gameboy bending overlight thing and attatched it to the top of the colum behind the steering wheel. It looks kinda funny but i enjoy being able to see what gear i am in at night haha. If you really want you could ask some other people on this site that are intellegent (not me ) and they will tell you how to do it and everything but i like my little light better than taking off the dash and all that shizzaz. good luck with whatever you do.
