Where's the damn computer on my '95 Stang??

I bought a SuperChip that has to be installed in the PCM Slot of the Computer. I know it's supposed to be on the Passenger front side. All I see there is the glove compartment, and a plastic piece that is covering what looks like an airbag of some sort.

Am I missing something?

On the foxbodies, it's behind the plastic kick panel, near the passenger's feet. Don't know about the SN95s, but it'd be the place to start looking.

Ok, I found what I think is the computer, it's a black box that is right under the glove compartment.

Anybody have any clue how to remove this thing???

Unplug the wire harness, and there's a hex bolt holding it to the wall(?)

Ahh that does not sound like you found your computer. The computer is a silver rectanangular box and it is not under the glove box. The computer is located on the passenger side down by the floor. If you are sitting in your passenger seat there is a plastic panel just to the right of your right foot. The carpet runs underneath it. You need to take off the long plastic piece next to the seat in order to get that panel off. Once off the computer sits behind 3 wire harnessess. You'll have to wrestle with it a little to get it out. There is a 10mm bolt that goes through the harness and holds the harness and computer together. You may have to unbolt it in order to get the computer out because there isn't much play. Make sure you disconnect the negative side of you battery before you start.

To give you a better idea of where it is. Its behind your front passenger wheel, but still inside the vehicle. Hope that helps.
