89 5.0 into 94 4.6 stang

removing a 5.0 ho and complete drive train from hatch back lx 89 and dropping it all into a 1994 drop top. Installing msd drop-in distributor,edelbrock performer intake(removing excisting fuel injection), edelbrock 650 carb and fuel pump(adjustable).
the 5.0 runs great and i love the 94 but it has a crappy v-6 4.8.
the 89 is road worthy in fact still driving it but i like the feel of the v-8.
does anyone for see any problems?

And I'm assuming you mean 3.8 V-6

Are you sure you know what your getting into before you start this?

If you don't even know that 94's don't come with 4.6's, and you can't even tell the difference between a 4.6 and a 3.8 V6, don't try swapping.

i have read a lot of the info on this site and didn't pay attention to the grammer correction and or typo's. You are correct the 1994 is a V-6 3.8 liter fuel injection computerized fuel and ignition vehicle.

the 1989 lx is a 5.0 liter H.O.(high output) which i have been told is a 302 V-8. both are auto trans and i am changing complete drive train.
i was worried about motor and tranny mounts and the overdrive trans in the 1989 stang for electrical inputs/outputs.

ability tells me to find all info available to avoid big problems this comes from many years of being a automotive mechanic/power mechanic/jet mech/helo mech.

and thanx again for anything constructive that you have heard or done to complete this 89 5.0 swap to a 94 mustang 3.8 V-6

i'd check 5.0 Mustang and Superfords (magazine's website: www.50mustangandsuperfords.com) or Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords (magazine website: www.musclemustangfastfords.com)) im sure one of them have done something very similar, and this way you will have pics and problems they ran into.

Arent the 94 gt mustang 5.0 or what r they cuase my uncle has one it has a 5.0 engine.
