2004 Ranger skipping

I have a 2004 ford ranger 3.0 V6 that skips. It has been skipping for a while now. I hooked it up to a code reader and it says misfire on cylinders 1 and 2. Has anyone had experience with this?

Is this a DIS system? If it is try this:
Check the coil pack for crakes, also the plug wires & plugs.
