Re: Sun Roof

you need the headliner out of a sunroof car or customize your sun roof. Other than that its pretty strait forward, cut the hole, drop it in. I would recomend new seals if yours are used.

Re: Sun Roof

Yup silent is right, cut your current roof and headliner or get one from a car that has the rood, plop it in, add the new seals. I've seen some people weld it in though.

my pop up roof took about an hour to install after the roof was cut, (roof took like 30 - 40 mins to cut cuz we found writing on my roof lol)

but a motorized one would take alot of work to put in imo.

Re: Sun Roof

Hmmm, I've heard of shops that charge up to $800 to do this, I guess that includes parts and everything too?

Re: Sun Roof

sunroofs are a bitch! But, I'll never regret replacing the stock POS with custom plexiglass (even if it isn't show quality), because I can see out of it. And on moonlit nights with my wife in the car on a backroad somewhere... well... Anyway, it's cool too cuz instead of having one arm getting tan from being out the window, they both get some sun...heehee

Re: Sun Roof

I'd use a dremel with titanium cutting disk, may take 20 minutes but well worth it, great precision too.
