electrical short in 1988 ranger extended cab
How do you check for an electrical short. Daughter got the wire harness hot and melted some of the plastic flex hose around the harness but no plastic on the harness wires themselves. Battery runs down if the car sets for more than 24 hours. Wire harness seems to get hot to the touch after a few min. time.
