2003 Tahoe Memory seat problem

I read a post from Jan about a memory problem with the seat position. We set driver 1 and 2 in th memory buttons. SOMETIMES when we get in the memory sends the seat all the way back and down. I brought it to the dealer and they could not duplicate. I asked if there was a memory chip we could swap and they said Chevy won't let them do that. Anyone else had this problem.
