VTEC Controller?

Hey guys(and gals?)

I have a 92 prelude Si with a H22a engine swap. I was wondering if there is a way to get the VTEC to kick in sooner. I am pretty sure that
apexi has a vtec controller I was wondering if there are any other ecu upgrade chips or controllers available.

Having vtec kick in sooner, without having cams designed for it, will result in bogging, or loss in power.

Yes, apexi does have a vtec controller (vafc); and you can also change your vtec activation point by having your ecu chipped (ex: uberdata). There are also other units out there, such as Hondata.

Nobody's mentioned Hondata yet. This is the way to go in the long run. BUT...Hondata setups arent cheep by far, but you get what you pay for.

Uberdata. More or less same as Hondata. Free.

(I speak in fragments all the time).
