Seatbelt ideas for center console? Have

a little chihuhua that likes to ride shot-gun but can't see out the window from the front passanger seat, so instead, he sits on my center console and has pretty good grippers - but, I'd much prefer him to be buckled in.

He weighs 6# and I generally buckle him into the front seat seatbelt, but he cries cause he can't see.

Any ideas? I hate the thought of having to slam on the brakes

A 6# chihuhua isn't a dog... it's food for dogs. Get a bigger pooch

J/k. How about making him a booster seat that you can secure in place with the lap portion of the seatbelt..

Re: Seatbelt ideas for center console? Have

you could get a booster seet found at mcdonalds and cut 2 slots towards the butt to allow for the seet belt to go through. then place it in the passenger seat. put a couple of eye bolts through the booster seet and attach a body harness to the dog and 2 straps to the seat. that might work...

or you could just duct tape him to the dash

That's hilarious!

Sometimes I wonder if the big dogs are gonna be HIS food! He's a little guy with a BIG guy attitude - this big black lab down the road cries every time he sees my little chihuhua walk down the road. It's such a hoot.

Had a big girl for 15yrs, she was a Dalmatian/Alaskan Malalmute mix, she was quite the girl. Only she was too big for the back-seat, let-alone the front seat, she was happy back in the cargo area with her bed.

Many people wondered if I was hauling a horse - she made my little chihuhua look a speck in the road.

Google "dog booster seat" and you'll find a couple that might work for about 20 bones (hehe ).
