stock rear end
does anyone out there know the specs of the 1991 caprice 305 rear end??
if not does anyone know if any caprices came with a posi rear? thanks guys |

yes posi was always available, and 7.5" is the civvy axle and 8.5" with trailer package and with 9C1, both 4 3/4 and 5" patterns came on 8.5" axle

IIRC, Any wagon is going to have at a minimum an 8.5" ring gear and up to an 8.75" . Also, all wagons 77-96 would have a 5x5" bolt circle.
fastr68, Were you a regular at GMF? Name seems familiar....
