I Just bought a Kyosho MINI Z

Does anyone know anything about these? I kinda wondering what all the different parts do.

The reason i bought this thing is because my Cousin who is swedish bought one whilst i was over there a week ago (he has two now a F1 Maclaren and a Subaru WRX GDB )

They are sweet and I think you might be able to drift them. I was wondering if anyone else had one or any knowledge of the Suspension parts as i was planning on upgrading stuff on it.

Incidently this make getting a real car all that much more difficult (200SX UK Spec S14)

These are the pictures of it from the person i bought it from. (i got a reasonable price)

It came with these parts
Kyosho X Speed Motor and WFC Ball Bearing Set altho they look like nuts to me

Thats cool man. What kind of mods and stuff are you going to do to it?
I like the RS4 Micro thing better though.

Those things are 1/18 scale the Mini Z's are 1/28

IMO this doesn't look as good as the MINI Z

I want to do suspension mods cuz i have a feeling it might be a bastard to go in a straight line with. (I tried my cousin's Mini Z - Subaru Impreza on an uneven wood floor surface - By uneven i mean it looked flat but probably bowed a little). The thing is cool and doesn't take up a lot of space. My cousin was building a track in his bedroom.... It was taking up most of his bedroom too...... .

Nope, originally they were advertised that they are 1/24. But if you place the mini z Impreza next to the 1/24 Impreza, the Mini Z is smaller...1/28 scale or so.

You can put a 1/24 body on them (you have to build the body mounts) but the wheels will look a bit small and not all bodies will work, the rear motor pod will not extend out long enough.

Yeah, I have quite a bit of them as I have 3 Mini Zs and a bunch of bodies. A web site you should visit, which should answer most (if not all) of your questions.... www.minizracer.com . You can even buy parts from them as well.

I want to know the difference between the OIL shock, high mount rear shock set and the rear shock set. There's a difference in price but i don't know anything about the performance and i also wanted to know if the Oil Shock is a bastard to put together

.......I just bought a tonne of rechargable batteries
