a mid-size sedan and a compact sporty coupe. $23,000 and $30,000. a 2 liter 4 cylinder and a 3.5 liter V6. 200hp versus 255hp. anybody but me see two completely different cars in two completely different categories?? you should compare the 02 maxima se to the 02 acura tl type s. that's a far better comparo. similar size, similar power, same # of cylinders and same # of doors. comparable horsepower ratings. prices aren't that different. that would make more sense than comparing a maxima and an rsx. that's just me though. if you want to compare a nissan to the rsx, compare the 240sx. at least they're in a similar class.

I recently test drove both the maxima and the rsx. The maxima has a bunch more power and is faster, also the rsx gets it max power at 7000 rpm i believe. so it takes a while to get its power. handling wise the rsx wins. I t is a really fun car to drive. the maxima is a lot mroe comfortable though.
