05 bank 1 oxygen sensor

posting for my sister her husband is having issues finding 02 sensor for bank 1 from what I read on doing plugs on the uplander you need to tip motor forward is that how you get to the 02 sensor or can it be gotten from under van? any help or link would be highly appreciated it will save me a 4hr drive each way. thanks

I have always done it from below......but on a lift....crawling under there will be insane.......from above? You will have to rotate the engine, but you may also have to remove things to get to it....

And who says it's the O2 sensor? Remember, it can be ANYTHING in the O2 circuit(wire, PCM, sensor, etc.), or, it can be anything that AFFECTS the O2 sensor, like a vacuum leak.....
