Tolerances are off with the front hood at least an 1/8 inch. Lines/ spaces don't look good in various spots; even the fender that was replaced is sharp on the fingers when tracing from hood to fender edge. Is this typical, or should I complain? I know it's plastic, but can't they do a better job in replacing parts?

In some cases they can only get things so close, but, more often than not, a good shop can make your car look like new. I'd take the car back to the repair shop, share your concerns, and see what they can do.
