fuel system

I have a 1999 jeep cherokee fuel tank and fuel pump and I am putting it into a project car. The project has a N/Asperated carburator. I put a return line bulkhead fitting into the bottom of the tank and picked up a areomotive A1000 fuel regulator with constant return fitting to feed back to the tank. I can adjust the regulator down to where it should be,[7 psi], to the carb. This is where I am on the project and before I drop in the fuel pump I was wondering if that tank was built to take a naturaly asperated carb. pump? And if so what are the #s. The pump I have is like the one in the pictur with the regulator on top. Thanks for any help and if somthing is wrong with my plan please let me know.
