Things swinging from the mirror.

Junk swiing from the mirror in cars is all too common.

I can't understand how the driver or passangers can stand that distracting junk in front of them?

Talk about distracted driving with a cell phone! This is also bad.

Re: Things swinging from the mirror.

40-odd years ago, I had my graduation tassel hanging from my mirror - lasted about a month until it was driving me nuts every time I got in the car. Nothing there since, so I agree with you... no need to add distractions to your drive. It's crazy enough out there as it is!

Re: Things swinging from the mirror.

My wife has 4 lbs of junk swinging on her key chain in the ignition. Drives me nuts. Probably a major contributor to GM's ignition switch problem.

Re: Things swinging from the mirror.

I've had air freshener hanging from the mirror - didn't find it distracting at all. But can imagine that something with a reflective surface or that swung about a lot would be a different case.
