Jeep Shutting Off
I have a 2006 Jeep Wrangler 2.4L 6 speed manual tranny. For the past little while it shuts off when I go to either slow down or stop. Where do I start looking for the problem?

Re: Jeep Shutting Off
Is your AC on? Ours does the same when the spark plugs need to be changed. The 2.4 goes through plugs pretty fast. There's a TSB out on it, to use only Champion RE16MC...bonus to this is that these plugs are less than $2 a pop.

Re: Jeep Shutting Off
You might also want to check on the Fuel Pressure Regulator because if this component fails, anytime there is a change in fuel pressure such as slowing down or stopping, the fuel demand changes causing the check valve in the regulator to shut down preventing excess fuel from getting into the engine.
