3.5L V6 life expectancy

I'm looking to get an Acura MDX, probably a 2001-2004. I'm trying to get an idea of how long I can expect this engine to go, i've noticed its in many Honda/Acura vehicles, so I'm assuming its a great engine. I've seen a few listed under $10,000 but already have over 130,000 miles, with the timing belt having been replaced already. Will it go well over 250,000 miles???

Re: 3.5L V6 life expectancy

In my opinion, it all depends on the maintenance. I had a honda prelude 92 with 205k miles on it. and let me tell the engine was less noisy than my current 01 sentra. =) I'm thinking about getting a pilot. I'll try to get one with 80k-95k miles on it with a great maintenance record. Preferable 1 - 2 owners.
