corners

Okay, so I'm trying to figure this out, but don't know that much about cars. The corner lights on my 97' SE Max look "dirty". They aren't at white a color as my headlights. First off, is this the covers, or the bulb? If it's just the bulb, what's a normal, cheap bulb i can get that'll do the trick?

Thats the stock bulbs Im guessing you have in there. Stock bulbs wont be as bright as the headlight. Nothing is wrong with your cover either. If you want your corner lights to be as bright as your headlights here is what you have to do. You have to take out the bulb from the corner light and turn it on 180 degrees. (doesnt matter clockwise or counter closewise ) on both sides of the bulb there are two small metal pieces (they are very little) you have to take one of them off ( i think the one that sits a little higher than another one) you can do it with any pliers. Then turn bulb 180 degrees around and put it into the corner light. TA DAAA!!! You are done. Sit back and relax and watch your bulb get twice as bright as it was before. Hope this helps.

i gotta do this mod soon.. i hate my dim corners and bright sidemarkers they look odd. however, i tried taking out the housing and it was a PITA, now i got some WD40 and waiting on bulbs to try it again.
