tire problems

Hey, if anyone can help that would help ALOT.. I have a 2000 focus and recently had a flat tire. I went to change the tire.. took the bolts off anf the tire will not come off... Ive tried kicking it, hammering it nothing works... I went to the store and bought liquid wrench sprayed that in there thinking its rusted on or somthing.....that dosent work either... any help would be much appreciated : thx!!

If this is an April Fool's day joke it came one day early. lol You've got to jack the car up before the wheel will come off!

I've never heard of a person not being able to get a wheel off. My only guess is that it is rusted to the brake rotor. I would say get a big hammer and give it a good whack at the bottom of the wheel, but I don't want you to bend the rim. Sorry about the April Fool's thing. I thought you were trying to put one over on us.

Ive worked at a tire place for 3 years now. This is a very common problem. Its going to be similar to what he said but make sure its a rubber hammer so there is no damage done to the wheel. It is corrosion built up on the hub where the wheel makes contact with it. As long as its a rubber hammer you should be good. Even if it takes alot of power and quite a few whacks, just hang in there it WILL come off lol.
