Parking Brakes.

Hi, I am new to this fourm.
What a great BB , excellent info!

I am no very mechanical but I would like to do some easy stuff.
I need to adjust my parking brake. i have found the cable underneath the driver side and was wondering how i go about tighting the parking brakes?

Parking brakes work on the rear disc brakes by actually screwing the piston out. Adjust by using using the parking brake alot. This screws the piston out. Unfortunately this unit (brake cable and calipers) are prone to freezing and need to be replaced often if not used regularly. Good news is that the parts are not very expensive. Just did it to my 94 Lumina and i am sure it was well under $200.
