Question Whats the diff???

Whats the difference between the B17A (VTEC) 2nd Gen. Teg and B16A 4th Gen. Vic. Other than the 0.1 liters. Would it be any different swap wise into our vehicles? Thanks

If i have my years right the second generation is a 90-93, right ? Those have B18a1's which are 130 hp and non-vtec, the GSR models in those years had a B17, which is rare as all hell.

Yeh the gsr came in later though. They only made them in '92 and '93.

I would just get a B18, most people these days are tearing the B17's apart for the cranks.

mellowboy are you sure that the b17 is obd1?

All the other 90-93 integras are OBD0, i just figured that the GSR would've been too.. i know that the b18c is obd1 but i didnt think the b17 was.
