would like your opinion on a purchase!

Hey everyone,

I would like your opinion on my next purchase. I would like to buy a S15 Silvia kit. None of them have engine detail so I already ordered an R32 Skyline to use the engine from it for the silvia. As I'm sure you know this is a swap that is performed in real life. I would like to know what you think would be the best kit to buy to do this modification. I am looking for a really nice silvia kit and I'd prefer that it came with some aftermarket racing rims not the stock silvia rims. any info/opinions are greatly appreciated.

Search for silvia's o HLJ.com and find one with rims you like. the Tamiya silvia S13 is a great kit. It's the one I'm building right now.

Make a decision, is it gonna be 4wd or rwd? If it's gonna be 4wd just use the engine and under-carriege from the skyline, it's almost the same as the sivlia. If you want rwd, you should try to remove the front axles off the skyine chassis...

Since you have the skill to do it, please try to adject the alighment on the S15 Silvia. Because the front is too back and rear is too front. As for the body...front nose too short, rear fender too narrow. not try to scare you, but it's true. After all, everything looks good on S15...Hope to see a thread in your progress soon.

He's saying you can use the Skyline chassis if you shorten it to fit the Silvia body.
