Problems with 2000-01 323Ci

Anyone have problems with their 2000-01 323ci?

I have 20,000 miles on a 2000 323ci and have had problems with:

1. Improperly installed seatbelt
2. Broken sunroof (2x)
3. Broken a/c
4. Plastic screw that holds jack in place broke (i spent 2 hrs trying to get the jack out so I could change a flat)
5. 4 light bulbs have gone out in 6 months (2 left side turn signals and 1 left side and 1 right side head light)

Help! Please let me know if you've had similar problems. Let me know if you've encountered other problems as well.

BMW has not responded to any of my numerous emails, calls, and letters. Thanks

well, re: sunroof (more)

sorry to hear of your problems with the e46. I have a 1999 e46 323i 34k miles and it's been (knock wood) trouble free for the most part. However, I was having trouble with the sunroof. It wouldn't shut/open unless I held the button in the "up" position for about 10 seconds. I remember reading about a technical service bulletin and I told my shop about it, but they didn't know what I was talking about and ended up just replacing the sunroof motor under warranty.

The seat belt is potentially a safety item, and if the dealer doesn't respond you can get help from the US Government.
