I finnaly got my cable hooked up! Horray... Its still not very impressive, only a 1500K modem, but hell anything beats 56k

It's at work, though, which means I can only be on sometimes and can't look at anything "fun". I don't have any access at all (don't even have a phone line) at home.

And to s3_ It's funny, but back in the day when my parents named me, Emily was a fairly rare name, that's back when most baby names started with "J" as in Jennifer, Jason, Jon, Jordan, etc..but "Emily" was actually one of the top 5 girls names for year 2000.

Because local calls are cheap/free on land, cell=fucking expensive.

$50/month isn't too bad, and I get TONS of minutes, and roughly 1/2 my calls are local toll anyhow, and I make a LOT of longish drives by myself in a 9-year old car, me being a 21-yr old female with very limited mechanical ability and NO strength or fighting skills. Cell makes a lot more sense for me.

not quite a walk in the park for me either, when ever I restart either computer (i networked 2 of my computers) they seem to have the most trouble re-connecting with cable, maybe Im just doing something wrong?
