Re: Ferrari 599 Hybird

nice color, exact match... what's the brand of the paint? are you going to finish the green in matte or gloss?

It seems pretty standard that all the wiring on hybrid cars are orange, they're pretty high amperage and they're "non-servicable" parts, so orange. I don't know where Ferrari keeps the battery, but there will be a big orange cable, about an inch diameter from the battery to the assist motor, which looks to be hanging off the rear of the transaxle on that car. You can see three or four further up the car and then they reappear right at the back, at a connector on the passenger side of the assist motor, it looks like.

Anyway, blah blah. Gorgeous work, by the way!! I didn't know Ferrari had a hybrid, ad I think they did a much better with the green paint than did Toyota. Hell, it's a 599 so it's already way nicer than a Camry! I love the subject matter and you're doing it great!

Re: Ferrari 599 Hybird

Ferrari and hybrids don't mix. What were they thinking? Ferrari are those type of cars where the buyers don't give a flying crap about the environment.

Other than that rant. This is one awesome looking model. Can't wait for the final work.
