Hammerite
Hi,
I have a look under the car, and I saw a little rust. No holes and nothing worried, but not fine to see. So my question is if I grind the rust away and paint with Hammerite over the old rust place is this ok? |

Re: Hammerite
If the substrate is cleaned, dry, and mechanically sound it would be acceptable to paint over the rusted area to prevent further rust development. It will be very important to coat BOTH sides of the panel since rust from the other side will continue to spread without treatment.
