99 grand am gt COLD water spewing

Hey guys i have 99 Ga GT 3400 At first it was mixin oil and water and steaming from exhaust pipe So i changed head gaskets and both Im and LIm gaskets . Now car runs fine and no steam but spews water from radiator fill tank until car is warm the runs fine Has any 1 ever seen this? and info would b helpful. The car runs great no miss jerk or anything just spews all water on cold start up till warm thermostat and radiator cap has been relpaced still same thing

i would have to suspect a plugged radiator. Did you flush the radiator out real well? If not...i would try that first

yes ive flushed the radiator and heater core this is really getting annoying. Im going to try putin 2-3 small holes in thermostat to c if it helps or fixes the problem but i would love to know the real cause

Well it seems the spewing has stopped i put 4 lil holes around the thermostat it runs steady just a hair under 200 now. But it takes lil longer to warm up. Problem fixed for now

i would be worrying about what is causing so much pressure in the system. Your heat nice and hot? I dont think a plugged heater core would cause this, but something worth asking. After warming up, temp gauge stays where it should?

Yes the heater blows just fine and when warm temp stays steady about umm 198 i drove it bout 45 miles and it never moved. The car had bad LIM gasket and same spewing problem when i got it. This past weekend i tore it down and replaced all gaskets above the heads on all cold to warmstarts it spewed water until i drilled holes in T-stat. Other than that car has ran perfectly fine. NO miss or shake car has plenty of power i cruised it around 135 mph and it did fine. This is very weird to me id like to know how where when but its workin so i cant complain considerig i got the car for 300 buks. It was a steal. 4 door 99 gt 3.4 .................
