2007 Nitro roof rack noise
Has any Nitro owners had a problem with a rattle/pounding noise coming from the roof racks? I find it hard to believe I'm the only one with this issue. I have pulled off the road and taped the front edge down to find/fix this problem so I know where it is coming from. Had it to the dealer 3 times and they have done all but fix. Said it was a wire harness loose , to change the racks, to try to glue down. Called another dealer with no luck. Called Dodge and also say don't know of any issues. Started an investigation to find/fix problem.
Anybody had this problem and have a solution to fix for good?

Yeah, I had this problem with mine, and there is recall on the roof racks put out by Dodge. Take it to your dealership to get it corrected... Maybe before you wrote this article, the recall hadn't happened yet. But they have a recall for it now. I got mine fixed about 4 months ago.
