wiper problem
i have a 95 s-10 with wiper problems. they will not go all the way down when turned off. they, however, do run the full stroke when turned on. everything i have found on adjusting says reposition the arms when turned off. but with a full stroke when operating, will that wipe my hood too? any help would be greatly appreciated. i've only had the truck about 6 months and has been doing it since i got it. the wiper motor looks new.
thanks ![]() |

Chev had a lot of problems with cold/lose solder joints in the circuit board. On park does it stay where the normal run or go down some when turned to park?

Re: wiper problem
As MT says, there are problems with solderings on the PCB in the wiper motor.
I had this on my -95. Fixed it by removing lid on wiper motor, remove and resolder the connector for wireharnes (ON PCB) (it is badley soldered at factory due to it needs more heatingtime when soldering then the rest of the components). put it back together again and try it... //Freddy |

Re: wiper problem
I've replaced the wiper motor circuit board on my 95 and fixed that problem. Yes, it is a cold solder joint(s) on the plugin - but for some reason after it happened for a little while, resoldering the board didn't fix it. The replacement board is about $25 or so - not too bad. Easier than replacing the whole motor...3 screws...
