Unhappy 2.2 l S-10, Enginelight on, P1336

Has a 2.2 lit S-10 where the engine light is on and error code P1336 is stored, I've tried to erase the error code but it comes back immediately, what do you do??
Where is the crankshaft sensor or camshaft fitted?

What year?

Has anything been replaced on it?

Code 1336 on a 98 says you need to prfrom the cranhshaft positin variation relearn.
The relearn thing is built into a good engine capable scanner.

Battery disconnect may have done it.
Go threw the relearn and clear codes and recheck and let us know what it does.

You will need a engine capable scanner.
Let us know how it goes.
Good Luck
