Bad MAF someone help

Well my manual transmission car accelerates itself and doesnt stall when in gear any more. It also jumps from 2000 rpms to 2500 rpms when idling....

I figure since I got a new ISC motor it isnt that. I think it is a bad MAF (mass airflow sensor)

anyways can anyone give me a step by step directions guide on how to remove it/clean it up.. Maybe it is just dirty I dont know

like how do I take it apart to clean it (the inside of it of dirt and debree)

it has 140K on the car, visually I DONT see any vacuum leaks, cracked hoses, loose plugs, or cables anywhere...

Re: Bad MAF someone help

Visually is nice, but a leak down test is better. Try checking your IAC before you decide to clean or mess with your MAF sensor.

Always test your parts before you install them, just because theyre new doesnt mean theyre working.
