Ferrari 458 Italia - something unusual
I got this kit yesterday together with its new rims !
![]() The Fujimi Ferrari 458 Italia looks to be a very great kit ! Will be a fun build to me and my plans for this kit is to fit these lovely RTM-wheels on the car and paint it in mica-red with a black roof ![]() ![]() ![]() What do you think about that..? ![]() // Rickard |

Re: Ferrari 458 Italia - something unusual
Interesting wheels, black roof is great on these.
Mine is nearly done. It's a fairly disappointing model in a lot of respects, but it looks okay enough. Make sure you have the side panels and rear bumper glued on very well (I used Tamiya extra thin cement, before parts were painted), it's a very tight fit and a lot of stretching of the sides to get the finished body over the wheel wells. Rear metal axle too short. Glass fit not great, side glass shows visible thickness all too well. They really rushed this kit...take your time, even though it's simple, you'll need to be vigilant to get everything to fit properly.
