CAR-toon--ol skool Monster style

Here's a current doodle project, done in the old Big Daddy Roth/Ed Newton style.
Crazy driver and twisted body.

It's a Terlingua Mustang with a supercharger & parts, just peeking thru the hood.
Driver is my "biker-like" bunny mascot named Link.

GB and Mark thanks.

Re: CAR-toon--ol skool Monster style

Thanks for the kind words!

Just about finished, still needs tread pattern on the front tires, a few more decals on the side, and a drop shadow under it.
Gonna let is sit for a bit and then give it a good review with fresh eyes .

Comments welcome if you see sumthin' that still needs work.

Re: CAR-toon--ol skool Monster style

Thanks Dom, I too think this is my best one since I changed my vector drawing style a few months ago.
I've finally made my own technique using what I've seen on Jeri C's DVD tutorials and
Lemorris' wip postings. They're all done for using PS and Illy, but I've now worked a way to use that "style" in Expression 3.

Finished design.

Re: CAR-toon--ol skool Monster style

Many thanks and a humble bow.

It's been awhile since doodling a CAR-toon has felt this good
and been so fun. Now to continue practicing this technique.
