Can't find this part, help needed

Recently had my exhaust manifold gaskets replaced and O2 Sensor on my 94 Olds Cutlass supreme 3.1 2 door...

Mechanic said a part that looks like this one needed to be replaced

He said it connected to the EGR Valve some how?

Could someone tell me if this is an actual part that goes on my car? Or did I get screwed out of $60

See if there is a part number on, then go to local parts store and ask them to run it.

I would do that but they kept the part. I was actually going to take it with me, as I took the old O2 Sensor and gaskets, but they said that part had a "core charge" which I have no clue if it really did.

You need to get the exact name of the part they replaced and stop the guess work! If they kept the part what is in the picture? It looks like a digital egr.

That picture is of a idle control valve for a Honda Accord after doing some more research. (Can't imagine GM making a part just like Honda)

I got screwed, and I'm sure the guy will come up with any excuse to make it sound like the part was needed.
