2002 Bravada wene turning sharpley left or right feel hesitation.

turning sharpley left or right it feels like the engine is coming under load. This is very obvious when turning at slow speeds the car experiences hesitation.
Could it be the power stering ?

Does it feel like its binding up? If it does, when was the last time the transfer case oil was changed?
