94 safari electrical problem

94 safari awd
having a strange problem on my 94 safari ext awd. its intermittent. while driving if you turn on iterior light or hit horn the van stumbles and sometimes stalls. radio will cut off then eveything comes back on. voltage is good at alt seems to be charging. its starting to do it without turning interior lights on.. any suggestions? no fuses blowing, i know the horn and lights and radio are on same circuit. thanks for any insight, joe

Re: 94 safari electrical problem

Most likely either a poor ground, possibly a bad body ground, or poor power connection. Charging voltage with the engine running and all accesories turned off should be 14.2 VDC. There is a known problem area under the underhood fuse panel. Fusible links tend to corrode and can cause problems such as yours. If you have questions, just ask. Keep us posted with progress.
