High Speed Internet!
Finnaly, they just finished replacing all the cables around here to fiber optic lines and I finnaly ordered my cable modem in and I have to go pick it up tonight! NO MORE SLOW CRAP FOR ME!

cable's not as fast as it's cracked up to be. Pages load at about the same pace.. the only difference is downloads.. it takes about 3 minutes to download an mp3. With my ethernet it takes about 3 seconds. Literally.. it's incredible.

I hope to be joining the ranks of high speed users in the next few months
 I just finished up a deal today so that by next month I will be on a new budget.....details to come in a few weeks  (and no, it's not anything illegal, immoral or something I couldn't tell my mother about )

*shrug* my cable was nice... have it at my parent's house with a wireless internet network, which is the main advantage to it all. MP3s usually take around 3 mins.. which is nice cause streaming is possible.. but ethernet has me spoiled rotten.

i got screwed, neither dsl or cable is available where i live. but i was able to get the sprint broadband satellite. and it actually turned out well. i dont care about the searching speed, but dl'ing is great. i use a cracked dap program and i can get 700k/s. not bad for $40/month.
