Tyrrell P34 - completed!
Hi Guys,
As promised on my last posting (F2007 completion), I am posting the irst of a series of completed models. This P34 was completed in last April, in time for our local club (Association of Model Engineers, Malta; www:a-m-e.org) exhibition and competitions. The kit is Tamiya's, and is fully detailed. Apart from the wiring loom and seat belts, the engine is completely plumbed as to the fuel, oil and cooling systems; info and diagrams thanks to past posts on this forum!. Details thus: Paint: white; Zero brilliant white: blue; Tamiya blue X4 enamel mixed with Mr Hobby thinner: various alclad shades:clear coated with Zero 1 part lacquer. Wiring: MFH Seat belts: material from DCmodels, buckles from Crazy Modeler. Braided line: Modelers (yes I had 3 sets!!). Braided line fittings: casted by a friend of mine. Plug and clear chords: Hiroboy. Trumpets and Mesh: Acustion. Bolt heads, dzus, etc: sms and lionroar. Others: exhaust springs made of thin fuse wire coiled on a wire strand and placed accordingly; front spoiler/floor brackets: made out of etch sprue. For 3 weeks I spent, daily, from 9 pm till 3am (then up for work @6.30am!!!). It was very much worth it as I was awarded gold medal, and took Best in Class with this car, and was awarded the Modeler of the Year for the autos section. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Enjoy! That is a fantastic job. Did the mesh cover on the velocity stack come with the model or did you have to make those?

Lovely build and a well deserved award
I love this car - both in 1/1 and 1/20
